Mercer Law LLC and Bondurant Mixson & Elmore LLP obtained court approval from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware for a $3.5 million settlement with an investment bank. The settlement followed an all-day mediation conducted by former Delaware Chancellor Andre Bouchard and comes on the heels of an earlier D&O policy-limits settlement. This case is the first time a bankruptcy fiduciary has asserted fiduciary-duty claims in bankruptcy court arising out of a de-SPAC transaction. Press Release
