On August 14, 2025, Robert Mercer moderated a panel at the Turnaround Management Association Southeast Regional Conference at the JW Marriott in Clearwater Beach, Florida.

Panel title: “Anti-DExit Legislation It Is Not Just for ‘Rockstar’ CEOs and Founders: The Impact of Changes to Delaware Corporate Governance on Middle-Market Restructuring.”

The panelists were Katie Goodman (GGG Partners), Troy Taylor (Algon Group), and Thad Wilson (King & Spalding). Among the issues discussed were the effects of recent changes to the Delaware General Corporation Law on litigation involving fiduciaries, directors, and post-confirmation trusts. This is a recurring theme in Mercer’s plaintiff-side insolvency practice.
